Red, garnet colour with toasty, plummy and berry fruit tones with hints of spice on the nose. Rich, full rounded fore palate. Good fruit and balance on mid palate. All backed by judicious wooding and soft tannins.

in the cellar : Excellent ripeness and quality from low yield vineyards gives an intense deep colour with ripe fruit, black cherries, plums and spice on the nose. The good structure and ripe berry fruit palate is well balanced with dry ripe tannins on the finish and will provide for good maturation in the bottle. 80% French oak, 20% American oak and of the total 20% was new.
