This wine has a deep ruby red colour. The nose has different layers of flavour on predominantly cassis, black current and black berries. This concentrated fruity flavours follows through on the palate where you’ll find them in good balance with the wood flavours. The tannins are fruity and soft. This wine will go well with most red meat prepared in a various ways. Other suggestions include rich fish, chicken casseroles, pasta dishes and cheeses.
