Sauvignon Blanc is Bouchard Finlayson’s biggest selling single label. It is a cultivar of which the typical aroma may be described as continuing vegetative, grassy, herbaceous, gooseberry, asparagus and green pepper nuances. In most instances it is these characteristics which winemakers strive to achieve. This 2012 edition is particularly forward in flavour backed by vibrant structure. Not acidic and not brash. Essentially the chosen wine for warm, hot summer weather. Full and firm on the palate with notable guava, pear and blueberry to citrus tones. A great ripe vintage with exemplary fruit – all from the domain.
