Klein Steenberg Sauvignon Blanc 2013

This light Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, crisp wine. On the nose, tropical flavors of peaches and pears, pineapple, passion fruit, and a hint of freshly cut grass. Good flavour concentration and texture, with a lingering aftertaste.

Can be drunk on its own as an aperitif or with white meats and pastas, tomato based dishes and light salads.

in the vineyard : This wine consistently yields a light but fresh style of Sauvignon Blanc. The fruit is sourced from the Swartland, Robertson and Constantia, each of the areas adding different characters to the final blend.

in the cellar : The components were fermented separately in stainless steel at cold temperatures (11° - 13° C). Regular lees stirring occurred to add richness, the end result of which is a wonderfully aromatic wine with great body and a lingering aftertaste, true to Sauvignon Blanc character, perfect for everyday drinking.
