in the vineyard : he Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and its associated terroir has proven itself to be one of the Cape's most treasured Chardonnay locations, where this Missionvale label is consistently and repeatedly amongst SA’s top ten Chardonnay’s.

The name Missionvale stems from the historical site of possibly the regions first building - that of the Moravian mission hospital established on this property in 1822.

The 2009/2010 summer was a dry season with low rainfall which impacted favourably to present a small harvest at vintage 2010. Quality has been the trademark of these wines and this bottling is no exception. Excellent fruit analyses was achieved presenting a bold full bodied wine of notable character.

in the cellar : 0                              The winemaking style enjoys traditional barrel fermentation with 30% new French oak being employed to enhance seven months of yeast maturation.
