in the vineyard : This 2003 bottling offers a wine reminiscent of the ovation calls backing the 2000 vintage. The arrival of additional fruit from first pick, high-density plantings has added a new dimension to this domain cuvée. Grape quality was great, harvested in three portions spanning twenty-one days from the first pick to the third pick. A situation which depicts three distinct terroir components.

in the cellar : Bottled after 6 months with a 30 % new barrel compliment. Fermented cleanly to carry a crystalline seamless quality all the way to the bottle.
