in the vineyard : A wet 2013 winter, a lack of strong winds during flowering and unpredictable weather conditions during harvest presented a challenging vintage. However, the subsequent quality is fantastic and resulted in excellent extraction along with full, ripe flavours.

about the harvest: The grapes were handpicked in the early hours from four premium wine regions: Olifantsrivier, Durbanville, Darling and Stellenbosch. This regional combination brings together these unique flavours in full harmony.

in the cellar : The grapes did not receive any skin contact and were gently pressed. Fermentation lasted 3 weeks at 15˚C. The wine was left on its primary lees for 5 weeks post fermentation and and after blending and extra 6 months on fine lees.
