Typical Cabernet with blackcurrant/ripe plum character with cigar box overtones. Well integrated, toasted oak flavours which carry through to a well defined palate with balanced, soft tannins.

in the cellar : The grapes are all from the Kleine Zalze Farm where the 30 year old vines produce excellent grapes yielding an average of 4 t/ha. The grapes were picked at 22 °B, then fermented with selected dry yeast. After fermentation, extended skin contact was given. After pressing, the Cabernet went straight to small French oak for 13 months prior to bottling.
