AWARDS
Tim Atkin MW - Score 95 points

A wine which encompasses our entire philosophy at Waterford Estate, the true reflection of the diversity and fruit on our property.

in the vineyard : Great winter with sufficiently cold and wet conditions. Spring brought moderate warmth initiating good even growth but late cultivars such as Cabernet Sauvignon received rain during flowering causing bad fruit set resulting in a 45% lower crop. Reds wines stood out in the vintage as being expressive and classical with lower alcohols.

in the cellar : Production quantity: 32 Barrels
Barrel ageing: 19 Months, 28% new 225L French oak barrels
