A wine that has a strong deep colour with rich, nutty aromas. Beginning to show ageing qualities. The full, rich flavours of the wine show a mix of ripe, sweet fruit complexity. The wine has depth and soft ripe tannins. Will age well.

in the vineyard : Vines with an average age of 11-15 years old were used. These vines are trellised, irrigated with drip and has a yield of 8 tonnes per hectare.

about the harvest: Harvested from specially selected Helderberg region vineyards. The grapes were harvested in March at 23.5ÂºB.

in the cellar : Fermented cool (20-24Â°C) with selected imported yeast. Pressed before dryness to retain soft tannins.
