La Motte Chardonnay 2003

The primary flavours of wine are apricot, orange, straw, integrated with butterscotch and smoky wood flavours. The wine is full-bodied and silky on the palate, with a lively, lingering after-taste.

Essentially a fine-food wine, with caviar, snails, carpaccio, paté, crayfish (Cape rock lobster), prawns, langoustine, mussels, perlemoen (abalone) and creamy cheese.
