Colour: Dark red and violet.Nose: A combination of dark berry and savoury spice aromas with a hint of tobacco leaf.Palate: Big, rich, sweet fruit, spice, pepper, long finish of ripe tannins, an altogether very full, balanced wine.Description: The first time we have blended in 4% Mourvedre. A complex wine from three different vineyard sites gives character to this Rhone-style Shiraz. Good colour, spicy fruit and pepper on the nose and flavours of berry fruit with fine ripe tannins on the finish make this an elegant wine. 80% French oak, 20% American and 25% of total in new barrels.
