Beaumont Shiraz 2000

Dark red, violet in colour with a nose of sweet red berry fruits, bcked by herbs and spices with lingering wooded tones. Big, rich, sweet fruit and spice, hints of wood, a long finish of ripe tannins and altogether a very full, balanced wine.

in the cellar : A complex wine from three different vineyard sites gives character to this Rhone-style Shiraz. Good colour, spicy fruit and pepper on the nose and flavours of berry fruit with fine ripe tannins on the finish make this an elegant wine. 80% French oak, 20% American and 20% of total in new barrels.
