A rich, full bodied red wine with smooth, ripe fruitiness. Its distinctive smoky character is enhanced by a maturation period in large Limousin oak casks. The full, savoury flavours develop fully about five years after the vintage. Serve with rich stews, red meat roasts or Italian style dishes.
