about the harvest: High winds at flowering lead to reduced yields in the more exposed vineyards. Overall, the crop was down approximately 15% this year. An early spring, near windless conditions throughout the growing season and relatively cool temperatures lead to an excellent quality harvest with low incidence of rot and good ripeness.

in the cellar : Blocks were individually harvested and separately vinified before blending the final wine. We focused on things like the juice turbidity and fermentation temperature in order to build weight and texture and more importantly, an ability to age once bottled.
