in the vineyard : The 1998 Paarl Cabernet Sauvignon was made from perfectly ripe Cabernet grapes grown in our own vineyards and the surrounding vineyards of Paarl Valley.

in the cellar : 10% Merlot has been blended in to add softness and structure. 60% of the wine was wood matured - 80% in large oak vats and 20% in small wood.
