Nederburg Sauvignon Blanc 2000

Sauvignon Blanc grape flavours play a major role in determining style and character of the Sauvignon Blanc wine as does terroir and climate. Grapes contain high levels of pirazine during the early ripening stage which convey a pronounced grassy character to the resulting wine. Towards optimum ripeness pirazine becomes less prominent and is replaced by more fruit flavours. Best enjoyed with tuna, quiches, veal, chicken dishes and most seafood.
