Weather conditions produced near perfect fruit with a resulting wine boasting with fruit flavours. Predominantly mango, apricot and a hint of vanilla.

Beautifully balanced and easy drinking as an aperitif or with oysters, salmon, as the palate desires.

in the vineyard :  The release of the Blanc de Mer 2012 enjoys new found status in achieving its “Cape South Coast” Wine of Origin placing. This is part of an evolutionary process where we are finally able to source all our fruit from close proximity to our wine cellar.

The Riesling dominance (49 %) continues and all our Riesling fruit is now sourced from either Elgin or our own Walker Bay vineyards. There is added comfort in appreciating that we are producing the only Cape white wine blend with a predominantly Riesling profile.
