Beautiful aromas of leather and pencil shavings with a smoky undertone. The palate has wonderful flavours of red berries and apricot, blending well with the fuller aromas of leather and black pepper with a lingering tealeaf on the aftertaste.

The Cabernet Sauvignon shows best with venison and beef.

in the cellar : The wine was fermented in stainless steal tanks and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation before racked to barrels. Due to the nature of the vintage the wine spent 3 years in 3rd and 4th fill French oak barrels. This was done to soften the tannins and maintain the subtle fruit on the palate.
