The unique South African variety has a bright garnet colour that will gradually soften to brick red. The wine has a classic fruit, plummy nose with touches of traditional esters. The lively fresh vinous taste is softly balanced and inviting at an early age but will mature into an elegant long lasting fruity smooth wine. A wine that can be enjoyed in its youth, and will improve with further cellaring. Serve with well flavoured dishes and ripe aromatic cheeses at room temperature.
