L Avenir Cabernet Sauvignon 1998

Deep inky-red colour. Blackcurrants, cedarwood and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Lovely combination of red fruit, oak and clove spice fills the mouth, with a finish of firm but ripe smooth tannins.

in the cellar : Matured for 19 months in 225 litre French oak barrels. 1/3 new, 1/3 2nd-fill, 1/3 3rd-fill. Received egg white fining prior to blending and bottling.
