Drostdy Hof Rosé 2004

This wine displays sweet plums, ripe strawberries and a touch of spice. On the palate it is medium to light-bodied with strawberry and plum flavours. It is a very approachable wine.

in the vineyard : The grapes were selected from vineyards in the Coastal Region. Drostdy-Hof Rosé is made from a blend of Carignan, Cinsaut, Pinotage and Pinot Noir grapes.

about the harvest: The grapes were harvested at between 22° and 23° Balling during February and March.

in the cellar : All the vineyard blocks were individually vinified. The juice was fermented on the skins at 14°C for 12 hours, then drawn off the skins and fermented dry to ensure prominent fruitiness.
