Morgenhof Estate Merlot 1998

The wine has a ruby red colour with a brown tint. The nose smells of mulberries, black cherries and plums. On the palate you find a concentration of these flavours in good harmony with the wood. On the aftertaste you will find dark chocolate flavour. The tannins are soft and fruity. This wine will go well with most red meat prepared in a various ways. Other suggestions include rich fish, chicken casseroles, pasta dishes and cheeses.
