Morgenhof Estate Merlot 1999

The wine has a ruby red colour. This is a full bodied wine with flavour of cherry chocolates, prunes, cloves and coffee, which follow through on the palate and lingers in the aftertaste. As the wine ages, the fruit flavour will become more dominant. This wine will go well with most red meats prepared in a various ways. Other suggestions include rich fish, chicken casseroles, pasta dishes and cheeses.
