Graham Beck Old Road Pinotage 1999

A very unique example of Pinotage with wonderful varietal flavours and underlayers of eucalyptus. It has a rich, almost sweet finish that is due, partly to the use of American oak. This maiden vintage from the Graham Beck Coastal Winery fruitfully reflects the splendid climate and terroir of our carefully tended Pinotage vineyards, and the extraordinary skill and attention of our cellar team. Rich, plum and dark chocolate flavours intermingled with the delicate minty and clove flavours. Ripe fruit tannins for a structured mouthfeel, succulent and full. Elegant, long finish.

Serve with any full flavoured dishes, meat, pasta or cheese - even baked puddings.
