Colour: Rich, dark, mahogany.
Nose: Rich, ripe mulberries and dark fruits followed by vanilla and quite prominent mint undertones - subtly enhanced by hints of cocoa.
Palate: Mulberries follow through from the nose, with hints of mint and vanilla; tannins are well integrated; exceptional balance between acid, tannins and fruit. A lingering aftertaste of persistent dark fruits is present, resulting in an extremely elegant wine that depicts the distinctive terroir characters for a true Vergenoegd Merlot!
