Colour: Beautiful deep plum, with a vibrant, youthful purple edge.
Nose: Spicy "warm" fruits; plum, raspberry and mulberry, underlined with a hint of pepper and violets.
Palate: Complex and full bodied; berries and plum with a hint of cedar. Vanilla and spice compliments the long tobacco leaf aftertaste.
Suited to serve with beef (sirloin/rump steak) and poultry - especially duck. If slightly chilled, it goes well with carpaccio or pasta with creamy sauces. When serving, this red can be slightly chilled or even decanted to further soften the tannins.
