in the cellar : The Nederburg Baronne, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, was first produced in 1973 and represents the lighter style of the Nederburg reds. The art of blending is bringing together two or more wines from different cultivars and tanks to create a specific style of wine. Each element has its own outstanding feature to enhance the final product and thus create a masterpiece. Half the wine was wood-matured in large oak vats for 12 months.
