Overgaauw Merlot 1999

Overgaauw Merlot was the first wine of this variety bottled in South Africa. This ruby tinted, rich wine was matured in 2nd fill barrels. A soft structured wood matured red wine with strawberry/raspberry aromas and a rich warm palate complementing the wine. With bottle maturation its velvety character will improve even further. Bottled in September 2000.
