The blend of wooded wine resulted in the fruity, complex wine with subtle wood and toast flavours. The wine shows typical colour of wood maturation, but is a definite move away from the older style of over wooded Chardonnay with no fruit to back it. It is 75% tank fermented and 25% wood fermented and then kept on the lees for eight months.
